There’s no denying that when it comes to nature photography, our Creator is the only artist worth
mentioning. Every photographer out there, myself included, simply try to capture the amazing
wonders that already exist. We do it differently and with different objectives, but really, it would be
crazy not to admit that we’re just reproducing an already existing beauty. My hope is for my photos to
reflect this reality as clearly as possible, and hopefully, help people see that there’s a God who loves us
enough to surround us with all this beauty.

I fell in love with photography about five years ago, during my last year in high school, and my passion
has grown steadily ever since. Back in 2009, I started working seasonally as a school photographer for
one of the leading companies in Sweden. As with anything else, I think it's important to have some
other interests on the side. I need my fair share of sports, fishing and writing to keep me from going crazy!

As for camera gear, I use a Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xti (EOS 400D). Combined with some filters,
it basically provides everything I need. People focus way too much on gear, in my opinion.
Go play some 1-on-1 pond hockey against Wayne Gretzky and I’m sure he could kick your butt if he was
playing with a twig :) Composition, angles, finding patterns and directional lines, use of colors as well as
light are just some of the elements that are more important than having a load of cutting-edge technology.
What you see with your eyes and in your heart will have a stronger impact than the price-tag on your gear.
